Gear Planner and Armory Import now live!

It's time to gear up your characters with the new awaited Gear Planner tool! And it is not the only good news of the day... Dear Mac friends, rejoice! A new way to synchronize characters from the Armory is now available for all! Gear Planner - Plan the future of your character now!When you start playing WoW it's difficult to know where to go, what to do and what is good or not for your character. After a while, you start to learn and understand why an item is more suitable for your character than another. As you level up, you continue to search for better gear combination that may improve again and again your character. In the end, your progression is a result of your team spirit as well as calculation, time, and hard work.The Gear Planner can really help you in this quest. It gives you a chance to see your ideal self and put it into practice step by step until the final one.  The Gear Planner is a real adviser, it will audit your gear and come up with potential upgrades. It will filter and score upgrades depending of your class, your archetype and your level. You don't really need to search for upgrades, they will pop up in front of you. As you upgrade your gear, you can see the benefits on all your stats and the differences with your original gear. You can then save your changes as alternate profiles and resume editing them when you want. Use them to keep tracks on your character progression or make plans for future gear. You can even link them in your character Profile to share it with your friend and guildmates. Your gear wish may not come true, but at least you can visualize it, share it and view how to achieve it using the Gear Planner. Beginner or advanced gamer, this tool will be a good assistant in your progression. So let's recap how the Gear Planner can help you gear up your characters?
The gear planner is finally a fun tool to play with. All the different functions are sum up in one fullscreen window that helps you to get the full picture. You can access it directly from the left menu of the website or from the “Equipment” tab when you manage your character. Start to plan the future of your character now with the Gear Planner! Armory Import – Magelo profile and signature for all!Playing on a public computer or a Mac? Reluctant to alt-tab when you play?Good news, the new Armory Import method lets you synchronize your character on the go!  Any WoW players can now create their Magelo Profiles and Signatures using the Armory Import. After a short verification process your character will be added in “My characters” section of the website. Your Profile and Signature will be created automatically and will be updated automatically as often as the Armory does it (once a day). Magelo main features like the Profile, Signature, Gear planner,… are available for all users now, no matter the way you sync your characters using Magelo Sync or the Armory Import. EverQuest Patch, 13 Jan 2010

| EverQuest will be patched on 13 Jan 2010, and the EQ servers will have a 6 hour downtime, starting from 2:00 am PST (PST is -8 GMT: 3:00am MST, 4:00am CST, 5:00am EST, 10:00am GMT, 11:00am CET). The patch notes are posted by Inoke here. In addition, Magelo Sync will need to be patched before it will work with this new patch. We estimate that it may take a few hours for us to patch it, so please keep an eye on this thread for updates. Thank you very much for your patience. Update (15 Jan 2010) : Magelo EQ has been patched, you can log in and update your characters now! |

| No matter what you celebrate at this time of year, everyone here at Magelo wishes you a great holiday, and a happy new year! We hope all your wishes come true! I wanted to use this opportunity to talk a little bit about our road map for this year regarding EverQuest. We are focusing at the moment to handle to its fullest all the new features of the latest expansion. We will very soon add support for the alternate currencies so vendors using them will be recorded correctly with their supplies and we will sync your alternate currencies. Then, we will tackle the new achievement system. We already have made quite some progress on both fronts so expect more news about it soon. Also, the past year, we put quite some effort to create and expand our WoW channel bringing a lot of new tools and goodies. Now that pretty much everything has been stabilized, it's time to payback ! So in the next few weeks, we will make quite some changes to bring all those nice features to Everquest starting with the related tabs and the NPCs geolocalization. Finally, a big thanks to all our premium members for your support so far and to Inoke for all the time she invest to help the community. |

The Magelo WoW channel has been in existence for almost 2 years now! We added a lot of improvements and new features on 2009 as the Archetype system and the Dual Spec compatibility in the Profile or the Interactive Zone Map, the Inventory and the Item comparison tools. | Have you been good this year? Frostfell has arrived in Norrath, bringing the joys of a merry holiday to all. Check out the Plane of Knowledge for NPCs who need your help to make Frostfell fun for everyone! You will be asked to save Frostfell by rescuing Santug, a bunch of dwarves, after which you may help investigate the theft of seasonal gifts and fireworks, or help prepare the Frostfell feast. You can even make a sick child's Frostfell special and help Santug find his nice and naughty list!  Check out your new profile and signature backgrounds for your characters to celebrate Frostfell with while you set off to do whatever heroic deeds Santug Claugg asked you. Winter Veil has arrived, and Greatfather Winter is visiting the cities of Ironforge and Orgrimmar, accompanied by the goblins of Smokywood pastures. You can find Greatfather Winter in Ironforge and Great-father Winter in Orgrimmar! The goblins Wulmort Jinglepocket and Kaymard Copperpinch have run into some trouble during this holiday, so talk to them and help them out! We have a bunch of new backgrounds for your characters profile and signature to celebrate Winter Veil while you set off to complete the last few Achievements in Winter Veil for The Merrymaker. Take a look in the Customize section of My characters to discover your presents! The tools section of the website has also grown with 2 new features! Use our Item Comparison tool to find it out! Compare several different items together to determine the best of them!
Pet talent calculator – Because Fluffy wants to min/max too!Hunters rejoice! You can now plan out your pets' talents using the Pet Talent calculator. You can see the many different types of pets that share the same talent tree, taking into account the Beast Mastery talent for BM Hunters. Share pet talent build links or print them out as you wish. You can also see all the NPCs that can be tamed as a pet for each pet family by clicking on the icons available in the pet talent calculator. EverQuest Expansion Released - The Underfoot
