So I open MageloSync, and it works... starts to detect my currently logged in character on EQ and then immediately crashes... couldn't find anyone else having this issue... got java installed.

Hi finster16,
Just patched Magelo Sync, can you please give it another try. If it crash again, can you please post your log file ? You will find the magelo log file in your install directory.
