EverQuest has been patched on August 19, 2015. The Patch Notes is available in the game forum.
Another patch has been applied on August 21, 2015.
 Magelo Sync is up to date.

Well, we were up – eqgame.exe was patched yesterday, so Magelo does not work with the new eqgame.exe (but does if you did not patch the new executable)

It looks like ~4-5days of downtime between EQ patches and Magelo catching up is pretty common...does it seem like (all the standard engineering disclaimers notwithstanding, I'm in software myself  ) it'll be roughly similar this time around?

With Magelo its kinda always been one of those things that takes as long as it takes. Sometimes its just a case of re-enabling the software because nothing that affects Magelo has been changed and other times it can be a pita for them so it takes them longer.

once again same thing. cleared cache, cleared logs, logged in using only eqlauncher.

Jelan still has not patched Magelo. I'm unsure of what the delay is, but it's still down due to numerous eqgame.exe updates.

We patched Magelo Sync again last Monday, to cope with the second update applied last week on Friday.
For a simple update, we usually patch Magelo Sync in one business day. We try not to work during the week end  It can takes few days for a bigger patch.

AND again last night (9/24) there was a no notice (well they said 25 min notice but it happened in 10 min) notice patch to fix the patch from the day before :D.
