If I start Magelo with EQ already running it opens and fails to locate the running character or target. It does correctly detect the zone.

Logging the character out and back into EQ does not seem to help. Still get the attempting to locate your character screen.
If I shut down both the game and Magelo and then start Magelo - let Magelo launch the game – and then log into the same character it usually works and finds the character.

Thanks for the detailed report Ekiph !
I need to figure out why the character detection does not progress further than step 1 which is pretty weird by itself. And I cant reproduce this issue with any of my characters ever, so it's not trivial

Still having this issue - I can only get sync to find my character when I start the game with magelo already running. If there is any info or log data I can send please let me know.

I am having a similar problem (have had this problem for months). As well as a "roll back" I finally get sync to work after dozens of tries, running as admin, not as admin, one account loaded in. When it finally does sync. The web page shows correct for a couple days then with no change on my end. Magelo sync not running your site changes the gear on my toon. Example .. going from sword and shield to 2h. With PS to no PS. Etc

Magelo will find 2 of my 3 characters I have loaded and running...
Below is the error log for when this happened....hope this helps in some way!

Just wondering if there has been any progress - I still have to start EQ using the sync window for it to find my character.
