I just noticed in game that my 'Gladiators plate legguards of war" and 'gladiators plate sleeves of war' both have a new 'damaga shield mitigation' effect on them. These dont show on my magelo profile, and i dont remember reading about that change on the notes for the last EQ patch. Did i miss something? =)

Better ask SOE on eqforums, they messed it up. Magelo not reporting them stats on the items because they not really there. It's a ingame bug caused by SOE.

That is correct - the Damage Shield Mitigation is still being tested, something in that patch before last is incorrectly reading the DoT Shielding as DS Mitigation and showing that but it is not doing anything in game.
Was first discussed in the last HoC chat and also on the EQLive Forums site.
