For quite sometime now, whenever you have selected a character of yours in the bar at the bottom, your equipped item would show along side whatever item tooltip the website is displaying.
Now each equipped item being displayed features a new section at the bottom with a comprehensive stat diff from the item you are looking at (the diff being the item minus your item).
I will refine this overtime but please do let me know your comments and suggestions to make this even more useful for you.
Keep in mind for example that we could contextualize the stats even further and for examble only show the ones that are relevant to the class of the selected character, we could also compute an item score per class and display that diff for an overall overview, etc...
