I used to be able to put my own background image on my magelo profile and imbed music as well. is this now only for premium members?

Yes, this is now a Premium-only feature, both for the background image and the background music.

Ok, so I upgraded to Premium just 10 minutes ago. I forgot the codes and where to put them in the profile so I can have my music and background picture on there. if someone can direct me to a link that already explains that, that would be awesome!

Both the music and picture need to be hosted.
Go to My Characters -> Manage Character -> Customize then paste a link to your background in the appropriate place and a link to your music in the appropriate place.

i am only able to put background and music to ONE of my characters...i am a premium user....is 1 the limit?

Shouldn't be. What prevents you from adding it to your other characters as well?

it's working today....yesterday when i would hit the save button ( after putting in links to background and music ) both fields would go blank...and it wouldnt save my info....=) got it fixed tho..thanks for the reply.

Any advice on a good sight for hosting music and any better ideas than Photobucket for the backgrounds?

I use GeoCities. You can get a free account, then just upload your files from the File Manager.

To limit (even more) what non-premium members can do. My premium service expired at the beginning of July, and I am just not sure if I want to renew. I realize that the downtime is really SoEs fault because they can't leave things alone, but To limit the non-premium members even more.. That's not right in my opinion. Being able to add the wallpaper and music was 1 way that non-premiums could personalize, and I think it sucks that they have to pay for it now.
