Magelo Update has been patched to work with the latest Everquest patch. As usual, just start it to get the new version (3.0.21). We have added links on item effects as well as item effect type (proc,combat,etc...) on items. With this new version we added preliminary support for TBS power source and we should be able to fully support it very soon.

I have JRE6 installed. It won't run the Magelo Update program. All it does is reinstall everytime I try to run it.

I had to delete my Magelo Update directory under Documents and Settings to get the program to run. I then loaded and allowed me to synch chars. However as soon as I minimize it, it disappears from the Applications List and I have to stop the javaw process, delete the directory again and start the program again. As long as I don't minimize it appears fine. This is occuring under JRE6 and JRE5.11 under XP SP2

I ran Magelo Update and was updated to v3.0.20 I synched a couple characters and things seemed ok. ie, new spells just learned correctly vanished from the missing spell report. However, if I minimize MU v3.0.20 it does not go to the tasktray... it vanishes. I have an instance if javaw.exe in my process list.. but no sign of MU. If I restart Magelo, it does start (and then vanishes again when minimized) and I now have TWO copies of javaw.exe running. What's going on?

Same thing here - all it does it reinstall it when I run it. Using JRE6 and WinXP sp2. Everything was working fine until this last patch.

Same issue here. When I try to run it, it just reinstalls itself and vanishes. I can't get it to run properly.

I just patched Magelo Update to 3.0.21, let me know if it's better now.

still nothing for me on this end jelan will load it but not running EXCEPT in task MGR

Weird, which JRE version do you have ? Can you post your log file ?

I keep etting this msg when I try to run the updater. An error occurred while launching/running the application. Title: Magelo Update Vendor: Magelo SA Category: Download Error Could not verify signing in resource: http://eq.magelo.com/mu/native.jar I have taken jav all the way of my pc and magelo and tried to re load both and get the same error msg.

I have Java 1.5.0_11-b03 and every time I minimize Magelo 3.0.21, it does not go to the system tray, it just disappears. The process javaw.exe is still running though, and if I start magelo again i have 2 process running, and so on. I tried killing all javaw.exe processes and starting it over again, but the same thing would happen. Windows XP here, latest patches.

Still no change either after trying 3.0.21. Same symptoms mentioned in previous post

Clean install of JRE6 and MU - I was able to get it to work for a short period of time. But now what happens is that when you minimize the window, it vanishes off the task bar - no icon for it or anything. However, if you pull up the windows task manager you can see it running in the background - but there's no way to pull it back up. You have to end the process and then rerun it. I have all of WinXP SP2 patches up to date.
