Just a suggestion.
Not everyone can spare the RAM to use this all the time.
When using WoW almost all my RAM is used up and this uses about 40MB of RAM on my computer.
My suggestion is maybe you make a secondary client that only hooks into the WoW Memory when you hit sync and after syncing it stops reading the memory. This would (I think) eliminate the use of so much RAM.
If it doesn't then maybe making a client with just the login and sync button would do it? (maybe with also showing your character name and that's it)

Sup, Jenoees. You can start Sync in the middle of playing, hit "Sync Now" and close it right away. Solves everything.
According to the devs, large memory usage by Magelo Sync is a bug. They are fixing it soon so that it works with minimal CPU/RAM usage.

40MB on a game system with 1GB is not that much btw. Even after code improvements the memory size is unlikely to drop below 20MB, so if you are really short on memory the alternative is indeed to run Magelo Sync only when you need it, and close it after you synchronizer your character.
