Not sure if it's bugged or not, but our guild members are having trouble getting new updates to show in the roster. I have synced several times, but it still says 27 days for the last. Some others are having the same issue. ... or are we doing something wrong some how?

I think this is just because you synchronize your character in a different role that the one set by default. In profile for example, the role 3 is updated on September 21 but this is the role 1 that appear per default when you open the profile.
You can update the role you want to show by default in My characters > Edit > Identity.
