As of today Magelo sync won't even start up for me anymore. Tried uninstalling, re-dowloading and a new install and nothing. Tried a system restore to last week and still nothing. Any ideas?

Same for me.
Java got updated to JRE 7 Update 5, have both Java runtimes (32 and 64 Bit) on my machine.

Magelo still not working. The "Loading screen" shows in red "Network Error" (I allowed JRE to pass the firewall, did even try in firewall's "Game Mode - Allow all connections") but I get the following error:
The launcher was unable to download a required file (/sync/launcher/11/sync.launch?11.1340983569453).
Anything I can do except changing JRE back to JRE6 (outdated version)?

Hi guys,
Really sorry for the late reply. We are currently working on the update of Magelo Sync to cope with the latest game patch from June 27. Please keep an eye on the homepage news where we will post an update.
At the moment we recommend to have Java 6 32bits installed on your computer. We need to update our system to fully support Java 7 to avoid the kind of issue you just have. We plan to work on this update next week and we will keep you posted as soon as it's done.

thanks for the reply.
I ditched JRE7u5 and went back to JRE6u33. Magelo works again and syncs. So I stick with JRE6 until Magelo runs well with JRE7.

Magelo Sync is now compatible with Java 7 which is mandatory now.
