The announcement says that magelo has been updated for WoW patch 3.2.2, but whenever I try to update, I get the message "wow.exe has been patched, Magelo Sync will be soon updated to support this version."
I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but I still get that message.

Blizzard patched wow to 3.2.2a, we will have patch Magelo Sync to work with this version which should happen tomorrow !

You right, we should have update the News & Announcement thread earlier.
WoW was patched again few days after we patched Magelo Sync for 3.2.2.
So we are working now on the new update to cope with the 3.2.2.a.

Just an update, World of Warcraft 3.2.2a was released on Friday, and we'll get an update for Magelo Sync in a day or two to make it 3.2.2a compatible.
We will do our best to fix Magelo Sync quickly!

News updated, we've patched for 3.2.2a. You can now sync your characters.
We've still got some difficulties handling items but it's scheduled to be fixed within this week.
