If you make a small change to the sig setup (change a font, then back to the original), it should update. Refreshing seems a bit haphazard atm still.

I was having issues getting it to show on my guild forums using the stock code from Magelo of
url= /img/url' target='new'>http://eq.magelo.com/profile/79979][img]http://eq.sig.magelo.com/79979/img/url
The trick was changing it to
url= /img/url' target='new'>http://eq.magelo.com/profile/79979][img]http://eq.sig.magelo.com/79979.jpg/img/url
Initial [ left off so code will show in this post.

yeah I dont get it. that doesnt look liek the same code as mine but almsot. Is this gonna get fixed soon Inoke? i havent seen any interjection from anyone from Magelo other than yourself. I mean its bad enough it doesnt even show the right stats in the first place

I'm not a programmer so I can't answer to when it's going to get fixed. All I can do is pass along the info which I have done.

It appears that the Magelo server still doesn't provide the correct headers with those generated signatures. If that's not intentional (to prevent certain uses), please fix

Understood Inoke. I am just voicing my concern that other than your interaction we have seen nothing to indicate this is actually being addressed. I view this as a major issue for a long awaited function. I just think that there has been suffcient time in which we should expect some kind of an official response from "Magelo" regarding this. In essence, wel I am very excited about the new feature Im getting a bit frustrated as I cannot even use it.

Have the same issue on my guild boards ... need a file extension for the image to actually work.
drakang's advice allowed me to work around the issue though
I do like the feature though! Bravo!

i was finally able to get it to work with some code changes. Im not sure how to post them so you can see them tho sorry. But the code generator here on magelo still isnt working correctly so im not sure whey the name of the post has (fixed) added to it as i havent even seen a change.

We fixed this issue, you can now append a png extension at the end of your signature url:
http://eq.sig.magelo.com/1364719.png
We will update our html and BBcode asap to reflect this.

There's still an issue with how the server sends out those images, though, as a php getimagesize() still fails. If you save those images and put them on another server, it works.

How can you determin that this is fixed if you haven't put it out to the masses and tested it? Adding a .png extension only makes it so the picture shows on the signature, but when it is clicked to go to the actual Magelo profile, it simply goes to the picuture that is displayed in the signature in a different window.
Please remove the 'fixed' statement out of the title.

Also. - I jsut did a magelo update yesterday afternoon and the SIG has yet to reflect the change. I even tried chaing the options on it to get it to refresh and that doesnt appear to be working.
**Update- after chaging my opions several mroe times this seems to have forced an update*

Signatures do not currently offer the use of custom photos, you can only use the ones that are in the Magelo library.
