Magelo sync maybe freezing on trying to find my current character, it's just staying on that screen. My character is not appearing. Please help!

Hello Miamop!
Magelo Sync will sometimes take several minutes before detecting your character.
Could you provide the Magelo Sync log if you've waited over 5 minutes without detecting the character please? Hit Ctrl + Shift + L to open up the log, then copy and paste the contents into the reply post. We should be able to identify what went wrong.

I'm having the same exact problem on my main character. I've been sitting at the "Trying to Detect Character" screen for over 10 minutes. It only happens on this character and not on any of my other ones. Also, I should note, that it will detect the zone I am currently in on this character, but nothing else. Here is my log:

As you can see from the log, I let Magelo attempt to find my character for half an hour. I cut a little in the log, as it just repeated same over and over, thus the time gap.

The issues experienced by miamop, Rainchaser, bash3r, rukiaprincess, lunadea, and Alfuin are caused by an error reading the character information. There's a number of different possible reasons for it and you might be able to remedy it by restarting Magelo Sync.
Mystic, there's no error message in your Magelo Sync log that I can see, may I ask if you've clicked the 'Sync Now' button in Magelo Sync after your character has been detected by it? You need to do that and once if successfully Syncs your character, you can then find your character profile by clicking "My characters" in the left side of the website after logging in.
