I have been using magelo since 2002. I even subscribed for a while when I played everquest. Now, I am playing WoW and I am very disappointed with the website.

First thing that I noticed is that I could not create alt profiles or even different spec profiles. WoW is different than EQ in that respect as you can have multiple specs and multiple sets of gear for different situations. I saw that extra functionality is available when you subscribe. I figured that the service provided is worth the subscription, but I cannot find a link or any way to subscribe. It seems that the site has gotten difficult to navigate and for the most part, virtually unusable.

The last thing I noticed is that stats are not correct when sync'd. In the olden days, you could adjust stats manually to bring them in line. It's frustrating that a site that I used to use as the bell-weather for characters is now being bested by the generic wowarmory site.

Are there any fixes in the works? Is there a way to subscribe so as to add the extra functionality needed to properly display all aspects of the characters in WoW?

Thanks in advance for your time.

Edit Realised I have been a member since 2002

The WoW channel is still in Beta and it is free to use Sync for WoW during the Beta.

Manual WoW profile creation and alternate profile creation will come with a future phase of Beta.

Sync hasn't been patched to work with the latest WoW update yet. There will be a message posted in the News forum when it is updated: http://wow.magelo.com/forum/topics.jspa?forum=31

Hi Percible, I understand your frustration but it's not as simple as we would like it to be
We will roll a very important patch this week which will address most of our stats accuracy issues as well as the speed of the website overall.

There is still a lot of work to do but we are definitely getting closer.

Any ideas on when we will be able to create multiple profiles? That is the main function I would like to see added. I have not tried to create an alt. profile on the EQ side, but has the function been removed from there also?

No, you can still create alternate profiles on the EQ side. It just has not been turned on for the WoW channel because it is still in Beta and they have to get all the basic kinks worked out before throwing alternate profiles into the mix.

We're able to support Dual Specs now; you can Sync both specs for the same character. Just don't forget to put on your off spec gear when you Sync in your off spec!

Alt profiles are on the way, it's still taking a lot of time, but we're making much more progress than before as we've figured out most of the formulas for character stats.
