World of Warcraft 5.4: Siege of Orgrimmar patch has been applied on all realms. The Patch Notes can be found on WoW official website.
 Magelo Sync has been patched!

Going back through site history, it looks like 5.3 (Escalation) dropped on 31 May, and Magelo was not patched until 10 July - about 6 weeks later. However, 5.2 (Thunder Isle) was fairly quick; the patch dropped on 6 March, and Magelo was patched on 13 March - one week later. Hopefully the changes from 5.3 to 5.4 will not require a long wait for character updating to function again.

Magelo Sync has been patched for WoW 5.4! You can synchronize your characters again.

Back on March 12th, I posted this after Magelo had been patched (this was during the 5.2 Thunder King release):
...I have tried to update them several times since March 5th; in fact I tried again just now. When I click on the "update" button - sometimes nothing seems to happen. Sometimes I get an "added to queue - position 1 - 0:18" message, which goes away after a few seconds without anything happening. Occasionally I'll even get a series of 3 or 4 "rotating" messages, with my queue position and time remaining being different in each, till it resolves about 20 seconds later without any result. I have tried updating both from my home laptop, and from my work desktop computer. Thanks for looking into this...
The exact same issue is occurring again - none of my characters will update properly. Is anyone else having a similar issue?

Hmm for some reason my characters are not updating, any info on what may be causing it not to?
I'm using the new beta launcher for wow, wonder if that has anything to do with it, if so do you guys plan to work around that seeing how blizzard will go with that to launch all their games?

Hi Deggon,
The new launcher shouldnt matter much by itself however it seems that now Blizzard insists of starting the 64bit client on 64bit windows and Magelo Sync do not support it right now. You will have to start wow in 32bit in order to have Magelo Sync working for the time being.
