Hello

When I start sync it checks for updates, then starts to download something that is 226.9 kb. Right when it is done it instantly says "unable to start". Below that it says "An error occured during application startup. If it is the first time this problem occurs, try running Magelo Sync once again. Got to www.magelo.com and check the forums for further help."

I have tried running it several times with the exact same results. Any ideas what the problem might be?

Hi Snocone !

do you have any information that could help us ? Such as...
  • Are you connected through a proxy ?
  • What kind of connection do you use (dsl, modem, ...) ?

Some EQ users had similar problem when connected with a dial up, we solved the issue but we didn't update deployed the new client version.

You can test the new version by dowloading the file below, simply replace the current MageloSync.exe
http://sync.magelo.com/sync/downloads/MageloSync.fix.exe

Thank you for responding.

I am on dialup. Sorry, its all that is available where I live. I downloaded and replaced the exe file. When I try to start sync now it says that it is not a valid win32 application.

Hi Snocone,

did you try to download it twice ? maybe the file wasn't completly downloaded, some users already tested this new version and it runs smoothly on dialup connections
