when collecting the drop information to update your database, do you actually have to loot the item for it to count or just look at the corpse?

Hi, urzsa.
Any interaction with the item (looking at it should suffice) should enable Magelo Sync to pick up on its information.

oh i dont mean updating the item information i mean updating the drop rate information, like this mob drops a diamond 40% of the time, do i have to loot it to update that number or just look at the corpse?

It seems the values should change after each time the boss has been looted ie. the boss drop table will be changed only if you've looted the boss and picked up the item into your inventory. Seeing it drop would likely not change the loot table for the boss, I'm afraid.
