Is it possible to make a profile that does not display the name/server? I would like to be able to show a private profile, and I think this could be an excellent addition.

Hi Spitt,
Currently as our channel for World of Warcraft is still in the Beta phase, we do not have such a feature to hide your characters' identities. Our EverQuest channel does allow users to change the Identity Card of your character (this includes your character name, title, and server; however, exactly how these features may be implemented in our plans for World of Warcraft is still being considered.
It may be likely that the features you mentioned may be offered in the next phase of Beta; however, we cannot say for certain.

In my opinion, since yellow pages (Armory) exists for all WoW Characters, It's kinda pointless to try to hide your identity with a magelo profile. What kind of use case do you see for this ?
Also as we experienced it on Everquest, such private profiles are leveraged by people willing to sell their character without reveling their identity to protect it from being banned or spammed. It's definitely not something we want to encourage.
So in the end, even if it might be useful in some very specific scenario, private profiles are doing more bad than good things.
