It depends on the complexity of the patch, how much the eqgame.exe and associated .dll files have changed, etc. I've never seen more than a week, and as early as the same day.

Magelo Sync has been updated. SoE patched 2 times in 2 days, very unusual of them... We patched both times within a few hours.
