hei, i just installed magelo, and i cant get it to work, when i open the program it says :wow.exe has been patched, magelo sync will be updated soon to support this version.
sorry if a topic of this is already open, couldnt find it on the forums then  but any answers on why it doesnt work?

Hi Orcslave !
Sync is only supporting the most up-to-date version of WoW (2.4.2 8278).
Note that if you're playing on a private server, we do not support these servers.
Let me know if you're playing on an official server and you have an up-to-date version

hey krogh , yes i am playing retail ^^ never liked the private server thingie so much,
but i play with the newest version of wow , if magelo doesnt support that, when will there be an update that does? ^^ i would like to try the program

as we patched the client today, I hope you've no more problem now 
If it keeps saying "wow.exe has been patched...", please copy your log file content in this thread. Type "Ctrl + Shift + L" to open your log file when Sync is running.

Hey !
I just spotted something strange
In your log, the game path looks corrupted  I see there's a ? and the last e is missing,
Is there any special character in your game path ? is it supposed to be E:\World of Warcraft\Wow.exe ?
This error looks pretty simple, but we'll have to fix Sync to handle it correctly once we'll have find why it is getting such a path

aah my wow has a tiny "tm" after it ^^ maybe thats why thanks ^^
edit: tried to delete it but stil said the same, :/ and still says the warcraft? thingie in log,?
is there any way i can reput its trail ? so i can like choose another path for it to open`?

Hi Orcslave !
Sync detects the path from which you launched the game automaticaly. If you update the path it should work smoothly
Anyway, I fixed the bug and we will deploy it next time we update Sync.

Different question, but replated tot he patch, none the less.
When can we expect the issue with the white hair on characters who have been to the barber shop to be fixed?
The white hair thing is killing XD

I have white hair as well on characters who have hairstyles that are new with the 3.0.2 patch. That's the least of my issues. I first launch WOW, then I launch the client. Magelo tells me WOW is not running and asks if I would like to launch it. Odd. Of course none of the help topics seem to address this issue. Maybe I'm the only one experiencing it.
I had high hopes for Magelo. <sigh>

Brendel, could you try launching Magelo before launching WoW.exe? It might solve the issue.
