SOOOOO Glad to see Magelo doing a TOR site. I've always been a big fan of Magelo even way back in original EQ when I used to work as a GM.

Though I only signed up with Magelo recently for Rift, I found that game quickly driven in a direction I didn't like and so i'm playing TOR now. So yeah, very happy to see you guys jump on TOR

I see all the cool database stuff coming soon, but what I did not see was any mention of things like graphical signature banners, or character profiles (manual of course i'm sure). Are these planned to happen as well?

Hi Agathorn!

The first stop for us is the database, as you noticed. Then we will tackle profiles and signatures for sure.
Thank you for your support!

... and character sync support?

Yep, I know I'm pushing it, but thought I'd ask.

I do realise that this is most likely the highest maintenance component of the magelo system in other games, but it is a very sweet feature especially since there's no equivalent of WOW's armory available.

Hi Deeprave,

I am happy to announce that we will soon offer full Magelo services for SWTOR. I hesitate to give a hard date because we still have a few technical hurdles to go through, but rest assured we are working hard with the BioWare team to make this a reality.

As we all know SWTOR is not fully a traditional MMO as we are accustomed to (those who have been pining for common features such as a combat log and macros know exactly what I mean).

That being said, what we have planned will likely exceed your expectations, so watch this space!

Is it safe to say that SWTOR died and Magelo ain't working on TOR section anymore? I'd very much would like to see GW2 section here

Well for sure the health of TOR is a concern and does not help. That being said, I hope the game will stabilize its player base and we will be able to come up with some tools.

As for GW2, It remains to be seen how much PVE is really important to this game. I personally play and enjoy it very much, mostly in sPvP. I guess we just want to wait a little bit longer to see how things unfold and what are the main community needs but would really like to bring this vibrant community on Magelo.

I'm guessing this project has died, i'm hoping the recent in surge due to the f2p might bring the project back?

Hi Gelvelik,

I would say we are kinda in standby on swtor. We decided there is no point to bring yet another database so we will focus on stuff that is not provided already. For now, we want to explore some ideas and those will be developed on our Rift channel. If it get some traction, we will port them to our other game channels, including swtor if the player base is healthy enough.
