i was looking through the post and was seeing instances for JRE 7. i do not have jre 7. i have 8 and it is only available in 64 bit. could not find older versions to install. new to this and was going to try it out but ran into this problem.

I have the same problem. Installed Magelo today for the first time because I really would like to try it out. I run Windows 7 and Java 8. I keep getting the same silly error: No JVM could be found on your system. Please define EXE4J_JAVA_HOME to point to an installed 64-bit JDK or JRE or download a JRE from www.java.com. Is Magelo an abandoned project or something? I noticed it has been a year since this issue has been addressed and the topic is listed as FIXED but it indeed has not.

I too was looking to use Magelo Sync & ran into the same issue, exact same error message as posted by the prior user too. Windows 10 & Java JRE 8 64-Bit. Is Magelo Sync even supported anymore?
