I can't get the signature or avatar to work properly on the Rift forums, is this a known bug or am I doing it wrong?

Not doing anything wrong, Rift forums are too strict right now, gonna try to talk with Zann to see if they can do something about it  I will let you know !

I came here to make this exact post
And BAM! Already on it. I'm sure we can get this worked out.
For now, I just downloaded the png to my computer, and uploaded manually. It doesn't make it dynamic, but, it's a functional work around if you're at the level cap.

Is this still an active task? I downloaded and ran the tool today and still got the rift.exe has been patched error message?

Hot fix #12 just went live today on the NA server, it usually takes 24 hours after a patch to get the Sync itself patched, as for the Rift forums not being able to post, you can look at the forum page and below each topic it will say Open/Being Worked On/Closed/etc to see if the thread is still being worked on or been resolved.

Just to give you an update about our discussion with Trion: they are ok to allow image code in their forum but they just need to implement a system before to prevent people of using too large images. So we are waiting for their GO and we will keep you posted.

I've seen images in people's avatars and sigs for a very long while on the Rift forums...but it still will not display Magelo avatars/sigs.
You'd think with Magelo and Trion holding hands on the beta soul builder project that they would let people use Magelo sigs lol.

I contacted the Rift team last week, just after I replied to your post and I didn't yet get any feedback. I will ask again today and I'll keep you posted as soon as I have some news.

Woot! Any idea what the problem is exactly with Magelo sigs that the Rift forums doesn't like?

Trion recently removed the option to allow Image BB code for your forum signature to prevent abuse from players who link really big images instead of respecting the forum settings. Unfortunately this option need to be allowed if you want to use fully your Magelo signature. You can still upload an image but you will lose all the dynamic feature of our sig.
So we talked about that with Trion and they are working on a solution to allow image BB code again and to make sure some players will not abuse the system. TBC!

Sigs are still not working on Rift forums. I'm sure you are aware...just figured I'd bump the thread.
