i used to use magelo on everquest for years... mostly for the purpose of seeing what items would be the biggest upgrades. to the best of my knowledge there isn't a way to do this for wow. It would be nice to see what my druids def rating will be at level 70 in full Season 2 Vs Tier 4.
is there going to be something like that later with magelo for wow? like a way to just create a char and gear it yourself without having to sync it?

Is there a rough ETA for the alternative profiles?
For me, this feature was always the greatest strength of Magelo over other similar sites - and is something I'm greatly looking forward to for magelo-wow.

Since I have a suggestion to add to this subject, I'll post it here.
What I like to see is, when you are in your profile window and can scroll through you gear, there is an option to find upgrades for your gear like there is in the Armory. Its an easy way to see if the higher leveled gear is not generally better then the gear you wear at the moment. In case of stats and gem sockets etc.
Or mayby there is a way to combine this suggestion with Kingpin's idea. A seperate window just for an early look on your character with upgraded gear that you can choose from a list of better gear than the ones you are wearing.
