I've installed Magelo and followed the directions, and still my character will not load. I've tried rebooting my PC and trying again, yet nothing happens still.

It's more than likely the patch from yesterday (WoW 2.4.3). They haven't updated the Magelo client yet, to work with it. Give it time, wait for them to release an update, then try.
