There is an error in the Belfs with enchanting. Since Belfs get the extra +10 to enchanting racial, I'm assuming why this error. Sig looks like this:
My actual enchanting skill (as seen on the wowarmory) is actually 381 whereas the sig generator shows it as 371. I would assume that gnomes might have the same problem with engineering.

Hello, Dorkfish. We've been aware of this for some time now, so it's one of the many improvements we're going to be making for a future patch. Thanks a lot for your input - the list we have currently is:
Engineering for Gnomes,
Jewelcrafting for Draenei,
Herbalism for Tauren, and
Enchanting for Blood Elves.
I hope I'm not missing anything - please let me know if I did!

Yes I am having similar problems. As a gnome engineer, I get a 15 point bonus. Currently my skill is 459 out of 465. However, my signature shows 444. This is essentially (459/465) x 450. So I can see how the error is occuring.
