Hello Bunty,
We have been receiving reports on this through email, too. As our records do not indicate any failed login attempts, this leads us to think that it may be the software used that may have caused the error. Could you tell us if you have the latest version of Java please? You may download the latest version at http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Once you have ascertained the latest version of Java is installed into your PC, please uninstall Magelo Sync and delete the "Magelo" folder from your hard drive. After that, please download a fresh version of Magelo Sync located at ( http://wow.magelo.com/magelo_sync.jspa) and install it again.
Magelo Sync should run correctly after that, without any problems.
If you are still having difficulties with a fresh copy of everything mentioned, please let us know the contents of the Magelo Sync log - you can open up the log by hitting Ctrl + Shift + L while Magelo Sync is running and copy + paste the contents in your reply.
Thank you very much in advance for your patience.

I followed this advice the other day, and upgraded Java/reinstalled Magelo completely.
It worked for that day.
Today, I wanted to update my sig, so before logging out, I exited fullscreen mode and opened Magelo... It stopped doing anything after picking up my Location in Dalaran.
Conversely, I just checked my version of Java, and:
Verified Java Version
Congratulations!
You have the recommended Java installed (Version 6 Update 12).
So, is there anything else that I or anyone else can do if this happens?

Hello Schism,
It may sometimes be required to restart Magelo Sync if this happens - maybe it isn't given the resources required for it to run properly. If it still is unable to detect your character, could you please check the Magelo Sync log and paste its contents here? (You can open the log while Magelo Sync is running by hitting Ctrl+Shift+L).
Thank you very much for your assistance and time.
