when i double click on the magelo sync icon an error pops up that says "The JVM could not be started. The main method may have thrown an exception."

Hi Hammerisop, could you please let me know if you have the latest version of Java installed in your PC and that you have the appropriate PC permissions to run it?

yes i do have the latest java installed. i tried reinstalling it and restarting my computer but nothing seems to help

I am having the exact same issue....

Newest version of java and all permissions.

Thank you for the update, Lea and Hammerisop!

What I would recommend is to uninstall Magelo Sync from your system and then manually deleting the "Magelo" folder from your PC before re-installing Magelo Sync - the error could have been caused by a file which was not removed upon uninstall.

Please keep me updated if you are still having difficulties.

I am having this problems.
I have uninstalled and manually deleted the Magelo folder and program.
I have removed and reinstalled Java.
