After I log into WoW and try to run Magelo Sync, it tells me I don't have any game running right now. It works fine with EQ, but somehow not with WoW. I have the game slots open for more accounts, so I know that isn't a problem. Is there a way it has to be configured to recognize WoW as running. I have even logged out and started WoW using Magelo Sync, but it still doesn't see the game as running so I can sync the characters.

Hello Aquirrah,
We are still working on the update of Magelo Sync to cope with the last game update so you cannot sync your character at the moment. As soon as Magelo Sync is ready, we will post an update on the homepage of the website.

I am having exactly the same problem. It's now 3 1/2 months since the origional post. When do you see this feature working again ?

Hello tophat,
Magelo Sync has been updated in the beginning of April. It should have no issue to detect WoW running.
Let's try again... Start to run WoW and log your character. Then start Magelo Sync, log and let me know what happen. Magelo Sync should automatically detect your character. If it's not the case, do you see any error message? You can press "ctrl + shift + L" to get the log file of Magelo Sync. You can copy his content in your reply. That should help us to figure out what is going on.

These are the steps I took:
1. Started WoW
2. Logged my character
3. Waited a minute then started and logged into Magelo Sync
Then a lil graphic window opens showing 3 games; Everquest, Rift, & Wow. There is no error message.
I wait several minutes then press the WoW button, it says "You have to launch World of Warcraft manually to allow Magelo Sync to launch it next time"

Hi tophat,
You are probably running WoW 64-bit while Magelo Sync only support the 32-bit version at the moment. Either you launch WoW 32-bit either you use the Armory import method to sync your characters.
Let me know how it goes.

I would like to add that i just installed Magelo after fresh installs and with version 4.4.1 of the Magelo client it will not see the 32 or 64 bit version of WOW start manually , additionally it does not see WOW start from the Battle.net launcher. This is working fine with Rift and has imported all of my characters. Would really love to get the sync for WOW working so i can use the tool.

There was a game patch last week and we are working on the update of Magelo Sync. Please keep an eye on the homepage news when we will let you know when Magelo Sync is available again.

I finally found an article on the internet telling how to get WoW to run in 32 bit. I had tried here unsuccessfully to find that out. Anyhow, I was finally able to get WoW to work with Magelo Sync. I'm a happy camper now. =)

For anyone who does not yet know how to get WoW to run in 32 bit.... on the battle.net launcher, click on options and go to game settings. From there check Launch 32 bit client. After updating with magelo sync, just go back and switch back to 64 bit. Done.. then you can update from the armory.

Any word on an updated Magelo client that will be compatible with the 64bit version of the WOW client? I have been able to use the 32bit client trick but would like to make use of the full capabilities of my system.

I guess magelo has quit supporting WoW? From the news page it seems the last updating of Magelo Sync for WoW was back in June 2014. Am I reading this right that WoW is/will no longer be supported?
