just installed this thing, I love it except that it shows my toon with black hair instead of red?

Hello and welcome to Magelo, Masterdave.
That really looks like a new bug. We had players whose hair turned white, but changing to an entirely different, available color is very strange, indeed. Could you try logging into Magelo Sync and waiting for 5 minutes before you Sync again please? It may allow it to pickup the correct color for your character's beard.
