I cannot upload png's into my media at all. It tells me the type of file I'm trying to upload is unsupported. However, it clearly states both png's and jpeg is fine.
I got around that by hosting the background on another site, and linking it in. Works great.
My sigs are another matter altogether. If I host the png on another site and link it in, it shows as... blank cloudy white? It's hard to describe, but there's no image. If I change it to a jpeg, it gets tons of artifacts and looks horrible. I'm unable to have a decent looking custom sig because of this.
This is an example.
The sig for Winnowyl is standard size, jpg hosted on magelo. This one actually looks alright.
Bellicoso is a jpg hosted on magelo. This is not alright.
Virsi is hosted on imgur, and has the direct link going on. This is not alright either.
Is there something I'm doing wrong, or is this a common problem that no one is talking about?

Hi winnowyl,
In order for me to try to reproduce your steps, could you provide me the png you are trying to upload to your media gallery in Magelo ? If you can provide a link that's great otherwise you can email it to me.
Regarding the matter with imgur, the url you are using would be very helpful as well and do make sure it uses https:// and not simply http:// (That could be one reason why the imgur url is not working).

Has anything been fixed or figured out with this? I'm going to have to switch to the larger sig for Bell, because I just can't handle the pixelation and noise in her smaller one. =\
