My question, of course, is what should we be doing to help the developers "find" bugs?
What kinds of things should we do with the client active? How can we 'stress-test' this new client, as it were?

this is an open beta, we do not expect all users to hunt bugs for us
But, as you did it so well, if you find something strange; be it a typo, an error in your character's statistics, spell, inventory or even a 73 Elite Murloc King based in Ironforge, you can report it.
We're aware there're bugs, and user feedbacks will allow us to fix them faster
