I've tried syncing a couple different times now and it seems that my portrait has upgraded and is wearing prot gear but the stats still reflect my ret spec.
*EDIT*
Just tried viewing my profile, all my prot gear is listed, still getting ret stats on signature. Signature lists spec as prot and has updated my profession change but not stats.

Tried syncing a third time and this fixed the problem.
