I installed the sync and every time I open it and try to log in it says "Unable to Contact Magelo.com" which is ridiculous because I have the website open! Please advise.

Hi Kineticv, The reason you were unable to connect is due to some server stability issues on our end. We are working to correct this as soon as possible. As patch 3.3 has been released for the World of Warcraft, it may take some time for our team to update Magelo Sync before it will work with the latest version of the game. Please keep an eye out for the update inv this thread. Thank you for your patience!
