I very much need to configure and optimize Magelo to suit my own needs.
As such, something like change realm (my sweetie is on US, I am on UK and we play at the same PC) via reading the Realmlist.wtf file, and maybe a helper to configure various Sync options like duration and time to leave would be very welcome.
Do include an in-game add-on data gatherer for Magelo so I may manage what data I wish to be exported and in what format so I may share that via blogs or discussion groups easier.
Some of my friends unfortunately play on private realms and it would be a good idea to unify the usage of the program along all realms; it might help those playing on private come to original Blizzard servers. 
Drawing the line and putting it right Magelo needs:
- Configuration file or interface to change the realmlist for patching and game purposes (for those playing on multiple realms and/or game versions)
- In game management and easy to use export file
- Easy sharing along multiple realms be it original or not.

as there's a bunch of ideas in your post, let me handle them one at a time

Do you mean you need a tool to replace the WTF file to jump grom US to EU ? Sync doesn't touch the game's file, it is only intended to synchronize your characters and link some data such as your current quests. I like the idea to get a tool to handle game profiles, but this is not on our todo list

Again, I'm not sure what you meant. Something such as a clock playing an alert sound ?

For now, we do not plan to release an in-game plugin, it is quite different from the way Sync is working. But, if we release some tooling, as mentionned here, you would be able to develop your own plugin using Magelo's data  An important point here, is that Magelo will never provider any data to allow a player to cheat or gain some advantage over others

Sync is intended to work for US and EU servers yet, I know we're able to get data from private servers, but we will do our possible to avoid that. Firstly, Blizzard fights against private servers. Secondly, on private servers there's a lot of weird (read über) items and it would corrupt Magelo's database. We plan to do player ranking really soon, and private servers' characters are just over-stuffed, the ranking would be useless with that kind of players.
That being said, your ideas are welcomed ! Could you be more precise on what kind of file you'd like us to export ? what content, what format, etc
