When making alt profiles, I start to have problems when I try to add things that I already have. For example, I already own a Gem of Bolstered Power, and want to put it in a dream profile but it won't let me because I already have it. So, I tried the "Items from Inventory" link, but it doesn't appear in the list.
How can I place ANY item I want into it's appropriate slot on a dream profile? Am I doing something wrong?

No; Magelo just checks to see your Lore items and refuses to place them elsewhere if you already have them in another place.
Jelan is going to take a look at this, though, as it is something that is pretty basic to making alternate profiles.

so does that mean that there's now way to make a "dream profile" or a "current goal profile" which might include things like augments you already own?

Not at the moment, no (unless you delete those augments from your main profile first). But as I indicated, Jelan will change this sometime in the future.
