for example, SKs use heroic dex, not heroic agility.
(Folks are using heroic agility to boost AC for rankings.)
So, having the rankings heavily weighted on AC doesn't show the real picture of the SK
I'm not sure what other classes really use, but there are probably other cases worth looking at.

This is the problem with most if not all classes for default... not understanding why its not fixed.

The ranking system really should, at least at the 85+ level range, be moved to the class's preferred heroic stat for rankings. The problem becomes knights have different methodologies for which heroic stat to stack.
Heroic Agility increases armor class, and is great for the group game. Raid mobs are going to mostly bypass benefits from agility however due to high strikethrough.
Heroic Stamina increases hitpoints, and is great for the raid game. This is mostly unnecessary for group-level mobs.
Heroic Dexterity is great for either, and helps with procs for self buffs, weapon procs, and other combat-driven skills. This is normally the preferred method for many who do both group content and raiding.
Other classes have a clear-cut "best" heroic stat to use.
