I believe there is a bug with my character slots. I deleted a bunch of old characters and now I can't sync up my new one.

Magelo is not tied to your characters, it is tied to the EverQuest / Station / whatever accounts that the characters are on. You can sync an unlimited amount of characters, but only a limited number of accounts.
