There was a patch today, and it tells me that magelo sync needs to be updated. However, I see other people updating a premium account, with today's date; there is no mention of an update in the works regarding today's patch on the front page, either. Any info?

We are still working on the update of Magelo Sync. I just posted the announcement, sorry I could not do it yesterday.
The date displayed at the bottom left of any character profile is the last update date, including few info you can manually update on the website like the title you want to display or the customization options (music, background image,...). So it is not just related to the synchronization.
