It doesn't matter if I put a Power source in my profile or not it doesn't update any stat.
I tried different power sources but non seems to do anything.
Anyone got an idea what might be the issue here?

Hi netmouse,
Right now, just updating the power source is not enough, you need to equip the hidden augments in the given item slots that the power source is providing into the game.
I should definitely try to automatize this but the augments you get depends on your class and your level as well I believe, so it's a bit tricky.

Thank you for getting back to me.
I have no idea how to equip the hidden augements.
Could you tell me how that is done?
I don't mind doing something manually, so don’t worry too much to automate it.
I searched the forum for a solution but I could only find a few posts with very little info in to it.
If this is a question that pops up regularly it is maybe an idea to make a sticky post with the remediation?

Go into your character's gear page. Click on, for example, your chest slot.
For Fenthen as an example, I go to http://eq.magelo.com/edit_equipment.jspa?character=725
and click on the Main profile
In the equipment section, click on the visible armor piece.
The augments are listed like:
Augments
8 : Sliver of Fear
14 : Priceless Diamond of Ethernere
21 : Valiant Plate Chest Ornament
1 : T2GroupPowerSourceAug
2 :
Those are what I have on my chest slot. The 1: is the powersource augment, and the T2GroupPowerSourceAug = the Xorbb's Caged Hatred

Great that worked, thank you Fenthen. 
I wasn't able to find a list with all augments to chose from but the one you gave increased the stats to very close of what I have at the moment.

the augments you get depends on your class and your level as well I believe
The augment that goes into the armor is based which specific orb is equipped, and then stats are scaled based on the purity of the armor (including augments). Class shouldn't factor into it. Level might if there is a recommended level on the armor or an augment, but I'm not totally sure on that.

Thanks for the info Kaspin, I will have to revisit that. I remember collecting information about what power source grants which augments and back then it was not that simple or maybe I just screwed up my observations...
