I have tried to sync today and it is not displaying correct stats for me. Was there a change in the way the orbs push stats on the sync?

Once you run Magelo Sync, any missing items in our database that you happen to have on your character will be automatically updated once you sync your character. That is the only way to add items to our database (There is no manual insertion).
And it looks like those 2 items have been contributed now:
