EQ just posted a hotfix patch, so anyone attempting to login will get the new eqclient, meaning Magelo will be broken.

Still getting a message that eqgame.exe has been patched and sync will be updated soon. Still not updated then, or is mine bugged somehow? Tried reinstalling but didn´t help.

That's weird, just tried again and it works just fine for me... Try deleting the content of the cache directory of your Magelo Sync installation folder and restart it.

Was my mistake, did see there was a new patch but just didn't translate into my mind that my game could actually be older than what magelo wanted, but of course that was the case. Just needed to update eqgame.exe.

I still can't get Magelo to sync. I've cleared out the cache folder and still no go.

I'm assuming you have patched EQ? Do you launch through the Launchpad?

Ahh, that's the reason. Thanks! I use WinEQ and it normally yells at me when EQ needs patching. Sorry for the false alarm. =)

hi back after a few years, downloaded sync, updated game tonight, and I keep getting a error, saying patch not supported. I can get in game it seems sync not happy.

EQ threw in a hidden executable update yesterday. It was not required to patch, but anyone who did lost access to programs such as Magelo.
As such, Magelo will need to be patched to reflect the EQ update.
