is it broken its sitting stuck on "Patching game module..Please wait" then it never detects the chars no matter what zone.

Could you please try again? If you still have a problem, please send us the log file of Magelo Sync. You just need to press "ctrl + shift + L", to get the log and copy its content in your reply. thank you

We worked on the latest game patch and Magelo Sync is up again since yesterday evening.
Could you please try again to sync your character and let us know how it goes.

Do you have a firewall or internet security software? If yes, please make sure you do not block outgoing connection for Magelo Sync.

I think another user just had the same issue and found a solution!
Could you please double check the version of your Java (JRE) installed on your computer. We can have some problem with Java 7. So you could try to uninstall it and install the latest version of Java 6 from here: http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp
Magelo Sync should work fine then. 
Please let me know how it goes, once you tried.
We need to work on something to avoid this issue happens again. On our to do list!
