I am transferring a character from Bertox to Luclin and it is trying to create a new number.

What is the name of the character? Jelan (or maybe louina as well) can manually edit the server for the character / Magelo ID #.

I had run into a semi-similar problem and Jelan was able to make the correction manually within the Magelo character/profile database.

Coincidentally, did you move the character to a new account as part of the character transfer service? That might explain why Magelo Sync is not picking up the character. Jelan knows all the specifics on how the function works.

My Character's Number is 1378133 and he has moved to Luclin.

Please give it another try. If Magelo Sync does create another profile instead of updating your existing one, please do not delete it and let us know.

I actually let it sync this time and it created:

So it is still creating a new one instead of maintaining my old one. Do I need to call someone to get this fixed?

Hi Detrolyn,

Thanks for the info, I have patched Magelo Sync to help us understand what is happening because it should just work... Can you please delete the new profile and sync again. It will create yet another profile but this time we should understand what is going on. Let us know once you have done it. Thanks !
